Quartz sand filter material is a kind of water purification material widely used in water treatment industry. It uses natural quartz ore as raw material and is processed by crushing, washing, screening and other processes. Quartz sand filter material has the characteristics of no impurities, pressure and wear resistance, high mechanical strength, stable chemical properties, strong pollution interception ability, high efficiency, long service cycle and so on.

In the process of water treatment, the suspended particles are removed by the adsorption adhesion between particles and filter material and between particles and particles. Its working principle mainly depends on the migration mechanism and adhesion mechanism. The migration mechanism means that the suspended particles carried by water migrate away from the flow line to the surface of the filter material. The adhesion mechanism is that when the suspended particles are in contact with the filter material, the van der Waals force, surface tension and coulomb force make them adhere to the surface of the filter material.
