Double circuit 400KV OHL steel tower
A double-circuit suspension pylon has two circuits. For three-phase
systems, each tower supports and insulates six conductors. In HVDC
systems typically two conductors are carried per line, but rarely
only one pole of the system is carried on a set of towers. Both
tubular and lattice steel towers can be designed so as to support
two circuits of electrical current. Double-circuit towers hold the
different conductors stacked atop one another, while in
single-circuit towers the conductors are lined up horizontally.
400KV double circuit suspension pylon is widely used in oversea
market, especially in UK, Indian, Africa and other European
countries market. Since 2008, we had design and supply every type
of 400KV double-circuit suspension pylons for our oversea clients.
MEGATRO can optimized design and make pylon less weight, high
strength, proper span distance, good wind resistance, and economy
in the use of materials. MEGATRO is equipped with sophisticated
machinery and equipment for the manufacture of 400KV double-circuit
suspension pylons, and offers a variety of designs to meet client
specific. Lattices of triangular cross-section are most common, and
square lattices are also widely used. After fabrication all 400KV
double-circuit suspension pylons, are delivered to the galvanizing
facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the
facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These
strict procedures insure years of maintenance free
MEGATRO mainly produce single circuit 400KV OHL steel tower for our European clients, even some other regions or countries. Main some data as follow:

Our main design engineer from USA, can use PLS software to design
every type steel tower beased on structural calculations and
geometrical frame drawings. To meet the expectation, we produce
shop drawings, components list and full production documentation,
and even complete 3D models that facilitate the elimination of all
design and drawings errors generated on the drawings. Another
advantage is our 3D design and loading & design report, and can
optimized the design and save cost for our clients.
MEGATRO had professional QA &QC team to control quality and execute strict QC & QC plan as per client requirements. MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of 110KV overhead transmission line steel tower. After fabrication all 110KV overhead transmission line steel tower are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers. Even we take secondary finish for client again, which as duplex surface treatment. The duplex coating applied in our own paint shop.
