Sand Media Filter

Sand media filter processes three-dimensional depth filtration, through the formation of homogeneous sand-size quartz sand bed as a carrier,commonly used in/for primary filter.

Features:

1.It is suited to deal river water, reservoir water, channel water, lake water, with more than 10 mg/L organic content, or channel water contains large amounts of suspended dirt material like municipal recycled water, usually as the primary filter.

2.Filtration tank is in metal structure, with surface finish of car painting workmanship, colorfast from long use outdoorsexcellent corrosion and rust resistant, and long service life.

3.Inside of the tank uses two-tier structure; the upper of screen plate is sand bed and impurity retention space; the downside is water flow space. And a sewage outlet is designed at the bottom of tank, through which all of depositions could be removed, and assure (of the) total cleaning of(for) this system.

4.Effective diameter of quartz sand is 0.4-1.2mm.

5.Maximum pressure is 10kg/cm2; higher pressure tank could be made according to user’s requirements..

6.According to irrigation projects dosage and filtration requirements, it not only can be used alone, but also can be built up or combination used with the screen and disc filters, and/acting as the primary filter of screen and disc filter, to improve the filtering effect.

7.Automatically backwashing makes water supply sustainably.
