DMC

DMC is the abbreviation of Dough Molding Compound and it is often called unsaturated polyester dough molding compound in China. It is dough soaked materials made up of mixed short glass fibers unsaturated resin, fillings and various additives. DMC materials was first applied in Federal Germany and UK in 1960™s , and then was greatly developed in U.S.A in 1970™s and in Japan in 1980™s respectively. Because it is endowed with favorable electrical property, mechanical performance, good high-temperature proof and chemical anti-erosion as well as being adoptable for various processes, that is to say, it can meet performance requirements for different products, and it is widely used in all areas.
APPLICATIONS:
1. Electrical Parts: Low voltage types: RT series, isolation switch, panel of switch, shell of ammeter etc.
2. Automobile Parts: Dynamo reflector, almost all Japanese dynamo reflectors are made of DMC.
Automobile lighter, separator and decorating plank, speaker box etc.
3. Dynamo Parts: Air-conditioner motor, dynamo shaft, winding framework, electrical and pneumatic parts.
4. Commodities: Microwave oven dishware, electric iron shell etc.
PACKAGE, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
DMC molding compound series are sealed in compound membrane bag, 25kilogram per bag, tied up and put into the paper box;
Heavy pressure, heat , wetness and package damaged should be avoided during transportation;
Validate period is three months from the product date under the temperature below 25ˆ© in sunless dry storehouse, overdue can be reused if it is qualified after test.

Injection molding temperature:125¬C5¬C
Duration :60-70s/mm
Pressure:10-20Mpa
Practical process should be measured according to the products and mold structure, if the products are thick, the temperature should be
lower. Most molding temperatures are 135¬C145¬C. Higher molding pressure is required for complicated products.
