| Project Background: | Automobile industry is a pillar industry in Hefei city. The most comprehensive models of commercial vehicle can be found in Hefei with series products of light, medium sized and heavy commercial vehicle, coach, sedan and mini vehicles. There are 10 automobile and tuner enterprises and approximately 200 auto parts manufacturing enterprises in Hefei, the gross product value of automobile industry in 2006 was RMB¥20 billion. By 2010, the capacity of finished automobile production will be up to 650,000 to 700,000 units every year, among which there will be 250,000 sedans and 300,000 engines, the automobile exportation will be annually increased by 10%, the automobile output will reach top six in automobile industry in China. By that time Hefei will be an important automobile and parts manufacturing base in the country with the gross automobile product value above RMB¥80 billion and the gross product value of automobile allied industry up to RMB¥25 billion. |
